Advanced Butt Plug Play: Interactive Training & Control
What if you didn’t decide when it goes in? Or comes out?
There’s a big difference between “I plug myself when I feel like it” and “I get to plug after I’ve finished my chores.” There’s an even wider difference between “She told me to do the dishes,” and “as I was finishing the dishes she cranked the intensity all the way up because she likes how it makes me squeal.”
This is the fifth and final “Butt Plug Training Path” outlined in my top-level guide, Butt Plug Devotion. I designed this one to be last, because it may be the most advanced. The other paths teach you about pleasure, training, aesthetics, and ritual. This one is truly about giving up control.
And if you have not read the Discipline & Training path, I’d recommend you start there before working on this one. Interactive control works best once your body already knows how to handle the basics.

🔁 Plug Play as a System, Not a Mood
The other advanced paths in this series are mostly about what you feel.
- What your body can handle: size and duration.
- How your plug feels: weight, texture, vibration, temperature.
- How you frame it emotionally and visually.
Interactive Training & Control shifts the question.
It stops being about sensations and skills and starts being about who decides and how. Who decides when it goes in? Who decides how long it stays? Who has the power to add vibration at the worst possible moment, or to tell you, “No plug tonight, you haven’t earned it.”
Sometimes that “who” is a partner. Sometimes it’s a system you build for yourself: apps, reminders, written rules. Either way, the kink here is not just the plug. It’s the loss of autonomy around it.
In our house, this is the path that turned plugging from “a toy I use” into “a protocol I live inside of.” The plug didn’t change. The rules around it did. And that hits very differently.
🔌 Plugs That Don’t Just Sit There
Any plug can be used for the “control” half of this path. A set of rules can tell you when to plug, how to plug, and when you haven’t earned it. But interactive plugs give that control system so many more options.
Not every plug is interactive.
Interactive plugs are different. They give you buttons, remotes, apps, valves, or keys that can change what’s happening while it’s in you.
Common kinds of interactive anal toys include:
- Remote or app-controlled plugs
- Inflatable plugs
- Locking plugs
- Rimming plugs with rotating beads at the base
- Thrusting plugs (I talk more about these in the P-Spot Pursuit post)
- E-stim plugs (covered in more detail in the Sensory Amplification post)
We’re not doing deep dives on every niche toy here, but if you’re on this path, you at least want a mental map of what’s possible once a plug can be told what to do.
You also don’t need to own every type. One well-chosen interactive plug that actually fits your body and your life is better than a drawer of expensive hardware you’re too intimidated to use.
Which brings us to some specific toys I think make sense for this path.
🛍️ Prissyfluff’s Picks: Interactive Plugs
at Babeland
Not only does it inflate inside you, there’s an internal weight, so once it’s expanded and the hose is detached, every step gives you that heavy, grounded “I’m full for her” feeling.
- Detachable hose for easier wear under clothing
- Built-in weight that adds to that full, swaying sensation
- Quick-release valve for controlled deflation
at The Sissy Market
Once expanded, it can be secured with a pin or small padlock, so you can no longer even pretend you’re in control. It’s heavy, unapologetic, and very “yes, Miss.”
- Hollow expandable plug with a locking pin that can “seal” you open
- Firm weight and strong metal construction
- Compatible with any lube and easy to sterilize between sessions
at Babeland
Not only does it hit your P-spot and perineum at the same time, it can be controlled by an app on your partner’s phone that she decides to fiddle with in the middle of the grocery store.
- Adjustable neck and curved tip so you can dial in reliable contact
- Two strong motors (internal and perineal) for deep, focused stimulation
- Widely regarded as one of the best app-control experiences on the market
🔑 Control: Who Decides What Your Plug Does
Who or what decides when you’re plugged, how long it stays in, and when you’re allowed to remove it? Once you have an interactive toy, who’s in charge of the inflation, vibration, thrust, rimming pattern, or lock?
Usually, that’s you. But what if it’s not?
Sometimes that control is handed to a person: a dominant partner, a keyholder, a trusted friend in your dynamic. Sometimes it’s handed to a system: a written protocol, a habit-tracking app, or a schedule you set up when you were feeling much braver than you do right now.
In practice, control play means two big changes:
- The decision to plug or not plug is no longer purely based on “do I feel like it?”
- Once you’re plugged, you’re not the only one who decides what happens next.
You don’t need a hundred rules to start. Honestly, it works better if you don’t. One toy, one or two clear rules, and one way of tracking them is enough to begin. You can always tighten the screws later.
⚠️ Can You Handle Control Play?
Whether you’re looking for partner control or system control, you need to think hard about whether you are ready. Be brutally honest with yourself here.
You are not ready if:
- You still struggle with basic plug insertion or removal.
- You haven’t read and absorbed the safety sections of Butt Plug Basics.
- You don’t yet have a good sense of your limits around size and duration.
You don’t need to have achieved any specific size or time; you simply need to know, and be able to communicate, what those limits are.
If you’re preparing for system control, you need to be willing to:
- Track your progress.
- Follow your own rules even when watching TV would be easier.
- Face the possibility that your own tracking data will call you out for cheating.
If you’re working on partner play, there are some extra mental and emotional gates too:
- Feeling totally vulnerable when someone else says “plug now.”
- Being told to obey when you don’t feel particularly horny or motivated.
- Letting your body move toward obedience before your brain has finished arguing.
If those ideas make you panic, pause here. If they make your stomach flip in a nervous, needy way? That’s a good sign you’re in the right place.
🤖 Solo Control: When the System Tops You
You don’t need a partner to experience plug control. You just need to stop letting your momentary mood be the only thing in charge.
At its core, solo interactive control is thoughtfully structuring a system that determines the what, where, when, and how of your plug play. And then actually following it.
Start with Simple Things:
- “Sunday chores are always plugged chores.”
- “If I watch porn, I stay plugged for at least 30 minutes afterward.”
- “If I skip my workout, I don’t get to plug that day.”
That system can be as low-tech or high-tech as you like.
Low-tech solo control can be a written page in your journal labeled “Plug Rules.” Or some sticky notes on your calendar. Use a simple kitchen timer for your sessions. It doesn’t have to be a big deal to be real.
If you’re anything like me (or probably most people under the age of 50), you’ll find it easier to use a little bit of tech to manage the system. It still doesn’t have to be much. A note or document on your phone where you have everything written down, plus a few calendar reminders. Tell Siri or Alexa to set a timer.
Or use an app specifically designed for stuff like this, like a habit tracker.
The key here isn’t the specific app. It’s the planning, the tracking, and the reviewing. When you do that, you see at a glance how often you obeyed yourself. You can spot patterns: “I always skip on Wednesdays” or “weekends are easy, weekdays are hard.” You can adjust your rules based on actual behavior instead of fantasy.
And when you eventually do meet a partner who wants to lead, handing them a record of your plug habits is both practical and… well, pretty submissive.
📱 The Obedience App
There is a great “high-tech” solution specifically designed for this. The Obedience App is basically BDSM-flavored habit tracker, where you or a designated “dom” sets tasks, rewards, and punishments.
I’ve played with the free features and would probably chose to use this if my own control system was up to me. But it’s not. My partner, is one of the few people under the age of 50 who really doesn’t understand technology. You may have already noticed this if you’ve read my post about her Sissy Fitness Rules, or my post about how she divided the chores in our FLR, and noticed that she always types these things out and prints them for me. I tease her about being an undercover boomer all the time.
For you, though, an app like Obedience means:
- You can formalize plug tasks (“plug while doing laundry,” “plug before bed twice a week”).
- You can attach points, rewards, and punishments.
- You can see streaks and failures in one place, instead of trying to remember.
It turns your plug rules into something visible, trackable, and harder to squirm away from.
👑 Partner-Led Control: When She Decides
When you bring a partner into it, the system gets a human voice. This is harder, but for bashful little sissies like us who just want to please, the benefits far outweigh the challenges.
A person can set written rules just as well as you can, but a person can also give ad-hoc commands. A person can bring a more discerning eye to your chores. A person is much harder to cheat than a calendar notification.
And a person, deciding it’s plug time just on her whim, can give you that submissive little flutter in your stomach. Not because she wants you to follow a rule she wrote down, but because she wants you to obey her.
Examples of partner-led control might look like:
- “Skirt and plug while you cook tonight!”
- “Glass plug tonight, then come show me.”
- “Text a pic of the laundry and I might let you deflate the plug.”
Over time, something interesting happens. You stop weighing the pros and cons of plugging and start living inside the question, “What are her expectations of me right now?”
Your body begins to move a little faster than your brain. You hear “plug” and you’re halfway to the drawer before the arguing part of your mind wakes up. That’s the psychological shift this path is built around.
🚫 Hard Limits, Safe Words, and Broken Apps
Now for the unsexy part that keeps you from having to explain your kink to an ER nurse or a very confused IT guy.
A few grounding rules for interactive control:
- Your body outranks any protocol.
If something hurts, burns, or goes numb, you remove the plug—even if the timer’s not done, even if the app says “punish,” even if you’re “supposed” to wait for permission. You can talk about it afterwards; you cannot grow a new sphincter. - Non-consenting people are not extras in your scene.
No surprise max-vibes in public. No deliberately obvious plugging in settings where people can’t opt out. Keep the control games private, or at least discreet. - Plan for tech failure.
Apps crash. Remotes disconnect. Batteries die. Before you start:- Agree on what happens if the app loses connection.
- Set a “manual override” rule: for example, “If we get cut off and I don’t hear from you within 30 minutes, I’m allowed to remove the plug.”
- Your safeword still works here.
Control play doesn’t magically erase your right to say “no,” “red,” “flugelhorn” or whatever word you’ve agreed means stop. If anything, this path makes it more important to remember you still have that tool.
🎀 Final Thoughts: Giving Up Control
This is the last post in my advanced plug series, and it sits at the top of the tree on purpose. Interactive Training & Control is what happens when you decide your plug life shouldn’t just depend on your mood.
You choose to be answerable to rules, apps, habits, or a partner’s expectations. You choose to let someone (or something) outside your current feelings have a say in what goes inside you and when.
That’s a big step. It’s powerful, and sometimes confronting, and it’s not for everyone. But if your stomach flips a little when you imagine your phone vibrating with a simple note—“Plug. Now.”—and you quietly getting up to obey?
Then this path might be exactly where you’re headed.
Plug deliberately. Track honestly. Obey within your limits. The point isn’t to be perfect. The point is to discover who you become when you’re not the only one in charge of your own plug.
